We provide expert and precise implant placement, bone augmentation and soft tissue graft procedures guided by our 3D Cone Beam CT for accuracy.

We are at the forefront of dental technology with our root canal procedures, re-treatment of root canals and instrument removal aided by CBCT Scanning and an endodontic microscope.
Oral Hygiene
Sometimes prevention is better than cure therefore we offer basic and complex restorations, fissure sealants, brushing education, scaling and polishing and night guards.
Prosthetics
We offer crown and bridge placement, same-day crowns and veneers, digitally designed makeovers, full or partial dentures and maintenance and implant supported crowns and dentures.
General Surgery
In well assessed cases we provide wisdom teeth removal, removal of soft tissue growths, abscess and cyst draining and laser soft tissue surgery.
Paediatric Dentistry
We offer children of all ages basic dental care for treatment under general anaesthesia and conscious sedation for a pain free dental experience. We also apply, maintain and remove braces.
Aesthetic Dentistry
To keep you appearance at its best we offer professional teeth whitening and age defying Botox injections to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Welcome to Hartenbos Tandartse | Dental. A practice situated in the center of Hartenbos in the beautiful Garden Route, since 1986. And since then, it has been the love of people and the passion for dentistry that has kept this practice growing, from strength to strength. It is this approach to dental care that has seen the practice become a landmark to anyone in the Hartenbos or Mosselbay area. And a dental home to patients from all over South Africa, and even the far reaches of the world.
Strong Team
Our practice consists of four qualified dentists, a dental hygienist and our admin staff.
Advanced technology
We use endodontic microscopes, 3D Cone Beam CT scans, Cerec bluecam and X-ray machines to perform and assist with various procedures.
Years of experience
The practice was founded in 1986 by our head dentist, Dr Piet Kamfer. All our dentists are expertly trained, well educated and experienced.

First Visit
We work with most medical insurance companies and only require the patients' medical aid membership number/card. Payment may be done in cash, or by debit or credit card. Walk-ins are welcome, but we prefer you make an appointment to avoid waiting.

Dr Piet Kamfer
Founder | DentistDr Piet Kamfer started the practice in 1986, and very soon became a house-hold name synonymous with quality dental care in the heart of Hartenbos.
Dr GK Kamfer
DentistDr Gustav Kamfer, son of Dr Piet Kamfer, has dentistry coursing through his veins. He completed his BChD at the University of the Western Cape in 2015 and has been practicing ever since.
Dr W Botha
DentistDr Botha was awarded first prize for the best clinical dentistry student from 2004 to 2006. As well as the best conservative dentistry medal of his class.
Dr AG Middel
DentistA former patient of the practice himself, Dr Middel started job-shadowing at the practice while still studying. Eventually completing his BChD at the University of the Western Cape.
